Prof. Dr. Oğuz Kayıran

He was born in Ankara in 1977. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Ankara University in 2001 and completed his plastic surgery residency in Ankara Training and Research Hospital in 2008. During his training, he had unique foreign experiences in the General Surgery Clinic of the Sheffield University School of Medicine in 2000 and in the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and General Surgery Clinics of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2008. He served as a Clinic Supervisor at Erzincan Military Hospital. He had been an instructor as a microsurgery trainer several times. He is continuing a PhD programme in Anatomy at Gazi University. He worked as a specialist at Tekirdag Corlu State Hospital Plastic Surgery Clinic and Izmir Private Ekol ENT Hospital as a responsible physician. Between 2014-2015, he worked as the Head of Department of Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Izmir University School of Medicicine and worked as a lecturer at İzmir Medical Park Hospital Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic. In 2015 he worked at Kolan International Hospital in Istanbul. Between 2015 and 2018, he worked at Metin Sabancı Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul. During 2018, he had been the Head of the Deparment of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at SBÜ Sultan Abdülhamid Han Training and Research Hospital. In 2013, he received his second specialist degree in Oral, Facial and Maxillofacial Surgery and in 2017, the degree of Associate Professor. He is a full Professor since Jan 2023. He holds the “Turkish” and “European Plastic Surgery Board (EBOPRAS)” certification. He is native in English and beginner in German. He is married and has one child. His specialty interests are Aesthetic Surgery, General Plastic Surgery, Breast Surgery, Tumor Surgery, Hand Surgery and Microsurgery. He is a member of International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), Association of Turkish Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (EPCD), Association of Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (TPRECD), Turkish Society of Hand and Upper Extremity and Turkish Medical Association (TTB) and a member of board in Turkish Society of Aesthetic Face and Nose Surgery.
