Doç. Dr. Tolga DEMİR

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tolga DEMİR He was born in 1973 in Istanbul. In 1998, he graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and completed his specialization in 2005 at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. He worked at Istanbul International Hospital between 2005-2007 and at JFK Hospital between 2007-2009. He was awarded the second prize in the "Award-winning Poster Presentation" at the 10th National Congress organized by the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery. He worked at Beylikdüzü Kolan Hospital between 2009-2014 and Şişli Kolan International Hospital between 2014-2018. In 2014, as a result of the examination conducted by the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery and the evaluation of his services in the field of cardiovascular surgery, he was awarded the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery "Certificate of Competence". In 2015, he was appointed as "Lecturer Doctor" in Beykent University Vocational School "Perfusion Techniques Program" and started to teach. In 2016, he was promoted to "Assistant Professor" in the same program. In 2017, he received the title of Associate Professor. He has a good command of English. He is married and has two children. Adult cardiac surgery, varicose veins and vascular surgery are his special interests. He is a member of Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery (TKDCD), National Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (UVCD) and Phlebology Society.
